Make the most of your performance appraisal

UC’s Learning Center has a wealth of resources to help managers, supervisors and employees prepare for performance reviews, due for all UCOP staff by Sept. 30. You’ll find here details about online tools and in-person classes that can help you make the most of this year’s performance appraisals.

Manager Toolkit: 10 Keys to Delivering Performance Reviews (online)

In this online toolkit, review the 10 key components of delivering performance feedback to your direct reports. The right type of formal feedback can improve employee performance by more than 25 percent.

Performance Appraisal Resources for Employees

This year, make the most of your performance appraisal by reflecting on your work and setting goals for the future with your supervisor. Learn online at your own pace, or take a class with colleagues to ask questions and learn from others.

    Offered as either classroom-based or online, this class will help you participate effectively in the entire performance appraisal process.
  • Toolkit: Preparing for Your Performance Appraisal (online)
    This toolkit will help you assess your readiness, write a self assessment and keep a performance log.
