ITS keeps Service Hub enhancements coming
Last December, UCOP’s Information Technology Services (ITS) redesigned the IT Service Hub, the ticketing system and portal for staff to submit IT requests and report IT incidents.
ITS works with a UCOP user group to continually improve the portal and keep it user-friendly and easy to navigate. Currently, improvements are focused on standardizing the format of the request forms and making fields easier to understand and navigate.
Here are some of the improvements in progress:
- switching from radio buttons to drop-down menus in request forms
- clarifying the information requested in forms
- standardizing the form headers
