Career Management, Part 1, Thursday, May 2, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 11326 Franklin

This two-part series will help you take charge of your career and achieve your career goals. Session 1 covers self assessment, development planning and resume writing. It is a prerequisite for session 2 (May 30), which covers learning to network, practice interviews and resume critiques.

Access 2007 Fundamentals, Thursday, May 23, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 7107 Franklin

You will learn to design and create databases; work with tables, fields and records; sort and filter data; and create queries, forms and reports. Topics include database concepts and exploring the Access environment.

To register for these classes, go to the UC Learning Center:

• Log in using your UCOP login and password.
• Using the Search box on the left, type in the name of the class you want; that will bring up Results of Search.
• Click the session you want, then click on the Register box and Submit.
