Give the gift of life: Bloodmobile at UCOP on Wednesday

The need for blood donations is constant to maintain a healthy and reliable blood supply. And donating blood is easy when the bloodmobile comes to UCOP this Wednesday, June 26.
At press time, appointments were still available at 1:15, 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45 p.m., so don’t hesitate to contact Jan Kehoe at (510) 987-9692 or jan.kehoe@ucop.edu if you are ready and willing to donate this week.
The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be parked in front of the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) building on 11th St., between Franklin and Webster. And Kehoe always bakes her homemade cookies to help donors replenish their energy.
If you can’t participate this month, plan ahead for upcoming UCOP blood drives on Oct. 16 and Dec. 17. Learn more about donating blood on the American Red Cross website.
