Staff Assembly Steering Committee election results are in

The results are in, and you now have 11 representatives working on your behalf as part of the 2013–14 OP Staff Assembly (OPSA) Steering Committee.
Congratulations to Melissa Amescua, Tracy FitzGerald, Matthew Leet, Dan Scannell, Jeanie Urban and Karla Wood, who join Darlene Alvarez, Nancy Chamberlain, Claudia Escobar, Peter Forde and Gemma Rieser in representing the UCOP staff community. Escobar will serve as this year’s chair.
Voting for the OPSA Steering Committee was conducted online June 17 to 28. All career staff employees are members of the Staff Assembly and were eligible to vote for up to six candidates.
Staff Assembly meetings, which are open to all staff, are held the second Wednesday of each month. The first meeting of this year’s term will be held on July 10 in 10325 Franklin. (Check the Link calendar for location, as it varies from month to month.)

The OP Staff Assembly is an all-volunteer staff organization dedicated to promoting the interests and welfare of all career employees at UCOP. It is affiliated with the Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA), the systemwide staff group representing all UC campuses and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as well as OP.
