Bake sale this Friday, July 12: Support the YPA’s Playhouse fund drive
The YPA holds its final bake sale and raffle drawing this Friday, July 12, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Franklin lobby. (Note change from previously announced location.)
The event is a fundraiser for UCOP’s Young Professionals Association (YPA) in their effort to raise $2,500 and build a playhouse through Habitat for Humanity’s East Bay/Silicon Valley Chapter Build-A-Playhouse program.
They have already raised $1,500, so don’t miss this opportunity to help them meet their goal by July 20 so they can buy materials and build the playhouse on Saturday, July 27.
On sale will be not only baked goods, but also raffle tickets for some pretty special prizes, including gift cards to Café Rouge and Juan’s Place and Oakland A’s tickets (see more below). Raffle tickets cost $1 apiece at the bake sale, and you get one free ticket per bake sale purchase. The raffle drawing will be held at the July 12 sale, and any winners not present will be notified by phone or email.
Here are other ways you can participate:
