Questions about new expense reimbursement process? Info sessions this week
In response to President Napolitano’s Efficiency Review announcement regarding changes to the UCOP travel reimbursement process, the Business Resource Center (BRC) has scheduled several information and training sessions for travelers and their support staff.
UCOP departments may elect to process their own travel/entertainment reimbursements in Express, or they may work with the BRC to do some or all of their reimbursements. Access to the Express system requires a three-hour training session, even if you have already been trained in a previous version of Express.
Information sessions will be held this week to answer your questions about the system, user roles and whether or not you or others in your department should attend training, as follows:
- Tuesday, Jan. 14, 10 to 11 a.m., Franklin Lobby 1 Conference Room
- Wednesday, Jan. 15, 10 to 11 a.m., 512 Kaiser
- Friday, Jan. 17, 2 to 3 p.m., Franklin Lobby 1 Conference Room
If you wish to gain access to Express, training sessions are scheduled for 7107 Franklin on Jan. 24, 27, 28, 29 and 31. Attend this week’s information sessions to help determine who in your department should be trained.
