Healthy sleep: Final session at Kaiser June 23
Did you know you can improve one-third of your life just by getting better sleep at night?
Sleep is an essential body function — like eating and drinking — and every human body requires it. Of course, getting quality sleep is often easier said than done.
In case you missed the June 16 session at Franklin, come to the Kaiser session of the wellness workshop, Healthy Sleep, next Monday, June 23, 12 to 1 p.m., in 512 Kaiser. You will learn why sleep is important, how to identify sleep problems and what you can do to ensure you get the rest you need. You’ll also learn some handy relaxation exercises.
The workshop is part of a monthly series taught by Kaiser health professionals and offered at both Franklin and Kaiser locations. Each month’s session features a new topic and offers tips you can use to help you reach your goals. All OP staff and retirees and their families are invited to attend. There’s no need to sign up: If you’re interested in attending, just show up.
(Note: These classes do not qualify for UC Living Well incentive points.)
Look for more classes in new topics through December in the Link online calendar and in future issues of Link.
