If you’re interested in participating in the 2014–15 UCOP Mentorship Program, time is running out.
The application for mentees, which can be found on the UCOP Mentorship Program website, is due by 5 p.m. this Friday, Aug. 15. Please complete your application and submit it by email to Jeanie Urban at Jeanie.Urban@ucop.edu. Anyone interested in serving as a mentor this year, please email Jeanie at the same address.
Now in its fourth year, the program builds about 25 mentor–mentee pairings each year that provide a supportive structure for UCOP employees to cultivate contacts, explore challenges and enhance their effectiveness as they grow both personally and professionally.
Mentees use the mentorship opportunity to gather information, develop peer support, learn more about management and better understand the organizational culture of UCOP. The one-on-one relationships officially take place for 10 months but have the potential to enrich careers and create enduring friendships.
