Check out this month’s travel clinic on Monday, Dec. 15: Lodging
The travel clinics on UC’s travel and entertainment expense policies and reimbursement process continue this month with a session on lodging, Monday, Dec. 15, 11 a.m. to noon in 7107 Franklin. (Click on link to add to your calendar.)
The clinics are one-hour, hands-on workshops on some of the common questions people have about travel and entertainment policies and reimbursements. They are designed for those who support travelers in their departments and who are trained in Express, the UCLA system that UCOP uses to process travel.
Mark Lozano, Travel and Entertainment team lead in the Business Resource Center, and his team will facilitate, beginning with a 15-minute review of the topic followed by questions from attendees and working through real-world problems.

There are more than 100 pages of complex travel and entertainment policies that must be followed in processing the estimated 10,000 travel and business entertainment reimbursements annually at UCOP. You can demystify the experience by attending the new series every third Monday of the month.
Upcoming topics include (click on links to add to your calendar):
- Monday, Jan 12: Rental cars
- Monday, Feb. 16: Conference registrations
- Monday, March 16: Entertainment reimbursements
No registration is necessary, but space is limited. Remember that you must be an Express user, proxy, reviewer or administrative support person to attend.
If you have ideas for future topics, contact Lozano at Mark.Lozano@ucop.edu.
