Seth Grossman, chief of staff to UC President Janet Napolitano, is the featured speaker at the December Lunch & Learn session, Thursday, Dec. 4, 12 to 1 p.m. in Franklin Lobby 1. (Click on link to add event to your calendar.)

As chief of staff, Grossman works closely with President Napolitano on UC systemwide administration, UC’s Global Food Initiative and other top-priority projects. He previously served as deputy general counsel and counselor to the Secretary of Homeland Security, overseeing all significant litigation and serving as top advisor to Secretary Napolitano on matters related to civil rights, immigration and privacy.

Feel free to bring your lunch and learn more about the President’s Executive Office. These brown bags are an entertaining way to hear directly from department leaders about who they are, what they do and why. It will also give you new insight about how all of OP’s departments and divisions interact to support the university’s missions of education, research and public service. There will be time for questions from the audience.
