Video: Roots of organic farming on campus

Tag along with best-selling cookbook author and New York Times food columnist Mark Bittman as he explores the lush 30-acre farm at UC Santa Cruz. Since 1967, the institution has offered a hands-on apprenticeship program to people from all walks of life who are eager to hone their gardening skills.
