Building news: Security and janitorial changes

As of Nov. 1, the security guard service at the Franklin building transitioned to UC Berkeley Police Department. Although many of the familiar security staff remain, we have some new members of the team. This move enhances our protection because the campus police department has excellent resources.
Welcome the new day porters …
You will see new faces among the custodial workers, who are also part of the physical plant resources from UC Berkeley. Unfortunately, we were not able to maintain the previous custodial workers so we have all new day porters as well as evening crew.
