Since the efficiency review process was implemented at UCOP in 2013, we have had over 800 suggestions. We deeply appreciate that our staff continues to share their thoughts on how to make OP more efficient and effective, as well as how to improve our work environment. You can submit suggestions at any time by filling in this simple, quick online form.

On May 19, 2016, the President’s Efficiency Review Work Group (ERWG) held a suggest-a-thon to raise awareness of the process and elicit a blitz of new ideas for how to work better, smarter and faster at UCOP. It worked! We received a number of thoughtful suggestions from you. ERWG is in the process of reviewing them in consultation with the president’s office before forwarding them on to relevant departments. Thanks to all who participated for taking the time to give us your input!

As previously announced, we held a raffle from the pool of all staff who sent in ideas during the suggest-a-thon (and up to June 1, 2016). A $50 Amazon gift card will be given to each of the three raffle winners:

• Angela Hom – Angela submitted five suggestions for improving OP culture/environment/engagement.
• Jocelyn Surla Banaria – Joyce submitted one suggestion for improving communications and messaging at UCOP re: kudos and accomplishments.
• Nelle Engoron – Nelle submitted one idea for improving OP culture/environment/engagement for new hires.
