First aid classes at Franklin and Kaiser buildings
You’ll have the opportunity to learn the basics of first aid with on-site classes in Franklin and Kaiser buildings this month. The four-hour class is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to manage a medical emergency until advanced help is available.
The topics covered include bleeding control; managing shock; head, neck and back injuries; burns; strokes; diabetic emergencies; seizures; asthma; severe allergic reactions; poisoning; bites and stings, and environmental emergencies.
The UCOP Office of Risk Management is sponsoring the training at the following times and locations:
