Save the date: Open Enrollment Fairs in Oakland and Riverside

Open Enrollment begins on Oct. 26 this year. We’ll have a lot more information for you as it gets closer, but wanted to alert you to save the date for the annual Open Enrollment Fair, where you can talk to benefits providers in person, pick up swag from vendors and win prizes!
In Oakland:
Date: Monday, Oct. 30
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Franklin Lobby 1
At the UCPath Center (UCPC):
Date: Thursday, Nov. 16
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Outside patio @ UCPC, Riverside
Tip: To add OP events to your personal Outlook calendar, go to the Link calendar and click on the event you want to attend. When the event window opens, choose the yellow “Export to Outlook” button and then save the event to your calendar.
Attending an Open Enrollment Fair is your chance to meet with UC medical plan vendors including Anthem, Health Equity, Health Net Blue & Gold, Kaiser, UC Care and Western Health Advantage, as well as Delta Dental and Vision Service Plan.
Other UC benefit plans that will be represented at the Fair include ARAG (legal plan), WageWorks (formerly Conexis, flexible spending accounts), Optum (behavioral health) and Fidelity Retirement Services, as well as supplemental insurance providers California Casualty and Prudential.
In Oakland, flu shots will be available free of charge (for employees only). The flu shots are sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, but you don’t have to be a Kaiser member to participate.
