UC employees can save on solar energy and electric vehicles with SunShares
Ready to go solar at home or electric on the road? A special discount for UC employees can help ease the way.
SunShares is a renewable energy procurement program making it easier and more affordable for S.F. Bay Area residents to go solar or purchase an electric vehicle. The SunShares 2017 program is available to all UC employees in the Bay Area, offering homeowners the opportunity to receive a discounted price on the purchase or lease of solar power for their homes as well as discounts on electric vehicles.
Solar providers include PetersenDean, SkyTech Solar and Solar Technologies.
Electric vehicle options include the Nissan Leaf and the Toyota Mirai. UCOP also offers staff additional electric vehicle discounts.
