President Napolitano thanks UCOP staff, answers questions at Town Hall
President Napolitano thanked UCOP staff for their hard work, dedication and ongoing contributions to the university at an OP Town Hall on Thursday, June 21.
More than 900 staff members joined her for the one-hour event in Franklin Lobby 1 or watched the livestreaming remotely. In addition to recognizing staff’s work, President Napolitano provided updates on several key issues including the state budget, UC’s efforts to protect the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and its recipients, and the UCOP Restructuring Effort. She highlighted some of UC’s remarkable graduates from the Class of 2018, and answered questions on topics ranging from the Restructuring Effort to the current situation at the U.S. border.
