Your opinion counts! Don’t forget to take the EEDG survey
Over the course of the past year, the Employee Engagement and Diversity Group (EEDG) has developed internal programs and sponsored events to increase employee engagement at UCOP. These have included a revamped UCOP Mentorship Program, our first-ever Multicultural Day, a New Employee Buddy Program and the popular Diversity Speakers Series.
Now, we want to hear from you! EEDG is conducting a survey of UCOP staff to learn more about the initiatives and projects you feel will continue to improve engagement at UCOP. The survey asks for your opinions about a range of topics, including staff recognition and internal communication.
The online survey is open now until 5 p.m., Monday, July 23. On Wednesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 19 from 12-1 p.m., members of the EEDG will also be in the Franklin lobby with laptops, so you can take the survey in person if you’d like. Whether you do so online or in person, we encourage you to take the survey, which shouldn’t take longer than five minutes to complete. Your views are very important in helping EEDG shape future programs and events that help foster a sense of belonging at UCOP.
What happens after the survey?
The EEDG will host a meeting on Thursday, Aug. 23 to present the results of the survey and get additional in-person feedback from UCOP staff. Your participation in this survey will help shape that discussion. Stay tuned to Link for more details about the Aug. 23 meeting.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey now or stop by the table in the Franklin lobby on Wednesday, July 18 or Thursday, July 19 during the noon hour. Your opinion counts!
