May 1 is College Signing Day — the day by which high school seniors are asked to commit to the college or university of their choice, beginning their post-secondary education.

UC is celebrating systemwide, at all 10 undergraduate campuses. UCLA will host a special event with former first lady Michelle Obama’s nonprofit organization, Better Make Room. This celebrity-studded event will feature Conan O’Brien, Usher, John Legend, Eva Longoria and a variety of additional film, television and music stars.
