Makayla Abbe of Pine Grove recently had the experience of a lifetime: Thanks to UC Davis Health and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the 14-year-old became a pop star for a day.

Abbe, who suffers from fibromatosis — nerve tissue tumors — was a patient at the UC Davis Children’s Hospital. When staff learned of her wish, they were eager to help make it a reality. Watch her video to learn more.
