Save the date: Mid-Autumn Festival

On Friday, September 13, join the Asian-Pacific Islander Staff Association (APISA) for their annual potluck celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival!

This year’s event will feature a presentation by Michelle Yeh, distinguished professor at UC Davis and executive director of the UC Davis Confucius Institute. She will discuss the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the cultural significance of the moon as it appears in Chinese mythology and poetry, and traditional celebrations associated with the festival.

The Confucius Institute will provide mooncakes for all attendees as well as serving a variety of teas.

Please bring a potluck dish to share!
