Enroll in UCOP Smartsheet Fundamentals — a helpful two-part class offered by UCOP Learning and Development, designed for newer users.
In this course, you’ll gain a foundational understanding of the Smartsheet collaborative environment and learn how it can be used to be track projects and information for your team.
We’ll cover:
- Basic Smartsheet functionality
- Formatting and conditional formatting
- Creating basic formulas
- Creating alerts and notifications
- Working with collaborators and permission levels
- Working with reports and dashboards
- Linking cells to other workbooks

Smartsheet Fundamentals is a two-part series, held Friday, Feb. 21 and Friday, Feb. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Completion of both sessions is required for certification.
