Join UC Legal in championing women’s heart health
According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular disease is the top cause of death among women — accountable for one in three deaths each year. Women have different warning signs than men do and there are many misconceptions around women’s heart disease and heart health.
Educate yourself about heart disease in women by reviewing the following resources:
- About heart disease in women
- Causes and prevention of heart disease
- Common myths about heart disease
- Facts, causes, risks and prevention of stroke
- Heart disease linked to dementia in women
