Does this event have an age requirement?
Yes; this event is for children and youth in grades 1 through 12.

What happens at Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day?
Children and youth will engage in a variety of entertaining and educational activities, through which they will have an opportunity to envision their future and career goals in an interactive, supportive, success-oriented environment. Learn more.

Why should my child attend?
The UCOP program is designed to be more than a career day — it shows participants the value of their education, helping them discover the power and possibilities of a balanced work and family life.

What does registration entail?
To sign up, visit the registration site after 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3. You’ll complete a short informational form and a waiver. Registration closes on Friday, March 13, at 5 p.m. — or whenever the event reaches capacity.

How many children can attend? What do I do if registration is full?
Our capacity is 80 children. Email ucopevents@ucop.edu to join the waiting list.

Can I volunteer during the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day?
