A fight to map change: The UCSF Health Atlas reveals social inequities
Kirstin Bibbins-Domingo, Ph.D., M.D., is cofounder of the UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations and vice dean for the Population Health and Health Equity Center within the UCSF School of Medicine. She also serves as the chair of the UCSF Health Atlas project, which illustrates how neighborhood-level environments impact health, highlighting health disparities.
Ghanya C. Thomas, IT diversity outreach coordinator and executive assistant, Information Technology Services, recently interviewed Dr. Bibbins-Domingo to learn more about her research and how communities of color have been disproportionally impacted by COVID-19.
