Our multicultural culinary celebration begins!

We often hear people refer to food and family when discussing holidays, gatherings or just fun times. This year’s Multicultural Week celebration wants to do just that — celebrate food and family with our UCOP community. Our theme this year is Culture and Connection in the Kitchen, and there are many ways for you to connect with colleagues and participate.

Join us for fond food memories — and the mystery ingredients

On Monday, Oct. 19, UCOP leaders and affinity group members will share their favorite food and family memories during a live Zoom event from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (PT). We will also be sharing the ingredients of our Mystery Ingredient Challenge (read on for details). Guests include:

How to participate in the Mystery Ingredient Challenge

Inspired by the popular Food Network Show “Chopped,” UCOP affinity groups have selected five ingredients for contestants to showcase their cooking creativity and storytelling genius. The ingredients will be revealed during our Multicultural Day Event on Oct. 19 (see above). The winner of this year’s contest will get bragging rights and to keep the Special UCOP Chef Hat trophy for one year!
