UCOP’s COVID-19 response plan details our pandemic response and approach to supporting ongoing operations throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. The UCOP COVID-19 Prevention Plan addresses strategic, operational, and staff-focused issues, and contains the following sections:

• Section 1 – Facilities Readiness and Environment, Health and Safety
• Section 2 – Human Resources
• Section 3 – Exposure Management
• Section 4 – Occupational Health – Screening, Tracking and Testing
• Section 5 – Culture and Connectivity
• Section 6 – Disaster Cost Recovery
• Section 7 – Forecasting COVID-19 Financial Impacts

The plan is a living document that will continue to evolve as the situation changes. It was developed by the UCOP COVID-19/R2OO task force’s core team and is currently being revised, as appropriate, to align with recently enacted Cal/OSHA COVID-19 regulations. Thera N. Kalmijn, executive director, UCOP Operations, leads this effort and is the plan owner.
