Support students: Help double the Pell Grant!
Pell Grants are the main way the U.S. government helps low-income students afford college, and their value is going down: In 1980, a Pell Grant could cover more than 75% of the cost to attend a four-year public university. Today — due to inflation, rising college costs and less state support for higher education — the maximum award covers just 28%. UC is partnering with other higher education leaders to advocate for a change, and we need your help.
