Managers’ Corner: The People Leaders Forum kicks off next Friday
Several months ago, the UCPath Center launched the UCPath People Leaders Forum — an opportunity for people managers to connect with one another to develop leadership skills, build community, share best practices, swap strategies for navigating current challenges and learn to better support themselves and their teams. UCOP’s Learning & Development team is happy to be able to collaborate with Lachelle Buford, human resource business partner at the UCPath Center, to expand this series to all UCOP locations.
The People Leaders Forum will take place the third Friday of each month from 1-2 p.m. (PT). The first event is scheduled for Friday, May 21. Register now.
For this month’s forum, we’re partnering with the President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (PACSW). We will focus on PACSW’s “caregiver toolkit,” which was developed to support colleagues during the COVID-19 pandemic. Managers will learn how to support their staff through open dialogue and flexibility. Learn more about PACSW’s work to support employees and access resources.
Please note that UCPath managers and supervisors are welcome to attend the UCOP forums in addition to, but not instead of, the UCPath forums.
