President Michael V. Drake, M.D., recently visited UC San Diego — his first visit there since becoming president in August 2020. Over two days, President Drake toured various parts of campus, witnessing its transformation first-hand and learning more about some of the innovative and impactful research taking place there. During his visit, he made it a priority to speak with students, staff and faculty, as well as to thank frontline workers.
