Topics include meeting structures that foster engagement, tailoring engagement strategies for participants and objectives and best practices for hybrid and remote meetings.

Learn the basics of Zoom: Resources and support, desktop applications, account web portal, configuration settings, scheduling and hosting meetings, meeting controls and basic troubleshooting.
Making Connections in a Hybrid World

Box Fundamentals
April 13, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Get an overview of Box Drive — UCOP’s cloud-based file storage and sharing service. Learn how to: use box, collaborate within and outside of UCOP, comment on files, set folder permissions, share links and more. IT administrators will answer questions and review helpful features.
Zoom Advanced

In this course for advanced Zoom users, we’ll cover personal meeting IDs; advanced web portal settings, scheduling options, sharing options and annotation; polling; breakout rooms; reporting and cloud recording.
Collaborative Tools for Virtual Meetings

Learn techniques to facilitate virtual and hybrid meetings that include all voices and engage your participants. We’ll cover how to structure your meeting, determining the right engagement strategy and best practices of hybrid vs remote meetings.

People Leader Forum – Returning to the Office Conversations
March 11, 1 – 2 p.m.
Monthly People Leader Forums provide an opportunity for people managers and supervisors to connect with one another to develop leadership skills, build community, share best practices, swap strategies for navigating current challenges and learn to better support themselves and their teams. In March, UCOP Ombudsperson Callale Concon will share strategies to support employees through change.
Remarkable Hybrid Manager: Leading and Managing the Whole Self

The hybrid workplace brings a whole new set of challenges, requiring adaptability, flexibility and adjustments to work habits and behaviors. This impacts the practical aspects of work, as well as emotional and well-being aspects.
