Thursday: Damon Tull and Yvette Gullatt will introduce I2E2
This Thursday, April 28, the UCOP Black Staff and Faculty Organization (BSFO) will host a special presentation on UCOP’s Inclusive Innovation Equitable Entrepreneurship Initiative, also known as I2E2.
I2E2 — which is sponsored by UCOP Research and Innovation, including Vice President Theresa A. Maldonado, Ph.D. — is collecting and analyzing UC-wide innovation and entrepreneurship data. This data will be used to develop evidence-based recommendations to broaden the participation of people from underrepresented groups in innovation and entrepreneurship, statewide and nationally. Participating in this initiative are UC and national I&E stakeholders, including investors, innovators, accelerators, program directors, economists, social science researchers, campus and system-level administrators, faculty and students.
This session will feature:
- Damon L. Tull, Ph.D., director for industry alliances, UC Davis Graduate School of Management and the Mike and Renee Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- Yvette Gullatt, Ph.D., vice president for Graduate and Undergraduate Affairs, vice provost for equity, diversity and inclusion, and chief diversity officer, University of California
