Support anti-racism at UCOP by taking an impactful workshop
UCOP looks forward to offering another opportunity for employees to take the impactful workshop UCOP Belonging and Inclusion Toward an Anti-racist Organization, on May 24, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
This workshop is an opportunity to deeply explore your own understanding of race, equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging, as well as how these topics and related behaviors tie into the UC Core Competency of Belonging and Inclusion. Attendees will learn why creating inclusive workspaces, where each person feels connected and a sense of belonging, are essential for high-functioning teams and how to cultivate this culture at UCOP.
Popular instructor Rachelle Rogers-Ard, Ph.D., will once again lead this workshop. A published author, adjunct professor, school district administrator, and organizational development specialist with over 25 years’ experience, Rachelle specializes in coaching leaders to dismantle racist policies and practices that threaten organizational health.
