Turn your data into a compelling narrative
When sharing data, we often prioritize its accuracy and analysis — and for good reason. But it’s almost as important to be able to share this information in a way that draws people into the insights presented and inspires decision-makers towards action.
Because of this, UCOP Learning and Development is excited to announce a new live virtual course, Storytelling with Data, taking place June 30 from 11 – 11:45 a.m. (PT). The course will be led by two UCOP colleagues from Institutional Research and Academic Planning (IRAP):
- Brianna Moore-Trieu, institutional research and planning analyst
- Ola Popoola, senior director, data strategy, governance and management
Ola and Brianna will share audience engagement techniques they’ve perfected through years of research and experience. Learn to connect with and motivate people through effective storytelling, meaningful presentations and helpful meeting settings. And, share your own examples of effective storytelling with your colleagues!
