Join BSFO in celebrating Juneteenth this week!

Cheryl Grills, Ph.D., Kamilah Moore, J.D., and Donald Tamaki, J.D., of the California Reparations Task Force will speak about their work this Thursday.

Juneteenth — a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans — takes place on June 19 annually. Since it falls on a Sunday in 2022, the federal (and UC) holiday will be observed on Monday, June 20. The Black Staff and Faculty Organization (BSFO) has planned several events for UCOP colleagues throughout the week of June 13 to inform, educate and entertain colleagues. Please mark your calendars and save the dates!
