New entertainment and meal allowance rates

As of Sept. 8, 2022, UC has updated its entertainment and meal allowance rates. The new rates are as follows:
- Breakfast: $31
- Lunch: $54
- Dinner: $94
- Light Refreshments: $22
These amounts include the cost of food and beverage, labor, sales tax, service and delivery; they do not include room rental or set-up fees, media rental or decorations.
Please note that the Meals & Incidental Expenses (M&IE) limit for an employee on travel status has been raised to $79 per day.
The Sept. 20 BRC Community of Practice meeting will focus on meals, meetings and morale-building events, and is a great place to get your questions answered.
