October 14: Project management
This month’s session, taking place Oct. 14 from 1 – 2 p.m. (PT) will focus on employee onboarding and will provide supervisors and managers with practical tips and strategies for project management.
Our special guest speaker will be Lena Zentall, project and program manager at the California Digital Library (CDL).
Lena has more than 15 years’ experience in program and project management, strategic planning, advising and communications in higher education. She has served the CDL for more than 20 years. Her accomplishments include leading the UC Shared Images project — an aggregated image collection across UC for classroom instruction — leading strategic planning and management of core library services, managing the CDL product team and serving as co-project manager on the Systemwide ILS (SILS) project.
Following Lena’s presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to share their own best practices and challenges for discussion.
