In support of the UCOP Future of Work program — and as part of the UCOP Community and Connection Initiative, which seeks to provide spaces for on-site communities to connect and network with their peers — all UCOP locations will be hosting in-person Community and Connection events throughout the month of April.
Oakland campus events are listed below. Riverside, Sacramento and UCDC leadership will contact staff at those locations to share details about local events.

FOW Breakfast Reception
Tuesday, April 4, 9 –10:15 a.m.
Franklin Lobby
Join UCOP senior leadership and Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders for a light breakfast networking event in Franklin Lobby 1 on our first anchor day. ERG leaders will share information about their groups and how to participate. Stop by and introduce yourself!
Breakfast items will be packaged so that they can be enjoyed while networking with your peers; there will be no shared serving utensils. Hand sanitizer and other sanitation supplies will be available. As a reminder, a negative COVID-19 test is required on your first day back in the office.
ERG Employee Appreciation Dessert Social and Involvement Fair
Wednesday, April 5, 2 –4 p.m.
Broadway Conference Center
Enjoy complimentary afternoon refreshments while connecting with your peers and learning how to get more involved at UCOP!
In partnership with the FOW team, UCOP senior leadership and ERG leaders have planned an Involvement Fair to provide a space for staff to meet colleagues and leaders outside their immediate team. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, become more familiar with UCOP as an organization, build connections with like-minded colleagues and find out about opportunities for engagement. There will also be opportunities to win prizes: Come early to learn how!
