UC Travel’s Supplier Town Hall series continues with Alaska Airlines, Marriott Hotels and more

The UC Central Travel Office is once again hosting its Travel Supplier Town Hall webinar series, hourlong sessions that provide a space for UC staff to engage with major travel suppliers, learn more about suppliers’ operations and find out about the benefits of using these services through UC. Many sessions include giveaways.

All sessions take place from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. (PT). Select each link below to register.

A “fireside chat” will discuss Marriott’s social impact and inclusive hospitality, including how Marriott welcomes all and does good in its communities. All attendees will be entered to win one American Tourister toiletry case with a Marriott notebook set.

Amtrak (September 27)
Representatives from the popular California routes of Pacific Surfliner, San Joaquin and Capitol Corridor will share details on UC’s partnership and how travelers benefit from rail journeys. All attendees will be entered to win one of the following giveaways:
— One voucher for two round-trip coach tickets for any city pair on the Pacific Surfliner route (one winner)

Learn about our car rental program, including how to take advantage of it for personal travel. Melissa Burley of UC Risk Services will overview insurance coverage for business rentals.

Managing Airfare: From Booking to Credits (October 11)
The complexity surrounding airfare can be overwhelming. This session will attempt to diffuse confusion by explaining inventory, booking options via UC’s preferred agencies (from search to seats to confirmations), cancellations and schedule changes, and managing existing airfare credits.
