Systemwide Director of Community Safety Jody Stiger recently shared a message for Oakland colleagues about efforts to promote employee safety and well-being, including the hiring of Martin Ticas as associate director of security services. In follow up to this article, Jody will be hosting a virtual UCOP Community Safety Conversation focused on our Oakland headquarters this Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 1 p.m. (PT).

During the event, Jody will introduce Martin to the UCOP community. Then, together with UCSF Police Sergeant Scott Carlson, they will share an overview of how UCOP Safety is working to keep everyone safe. There will also be an opportunity for staff to ask questions.
