Join us in bringing back Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKTWD) — a longstanding and beloved staff event in which we welcome colleagues’ children to experience a day at UCOP. Take Our Kids to Work Day is a national movement that allows students to explore career possibilities while learning more about their parents’ work and organization. This will be UCOP’s first TOKTWD event since before the COVID-19 pandemic. Festivities will take place in Oakland and at the UCPath Center.

When and where is TOKTWD taking place?

We will be hosting the event on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Oakland and at the UCPath Center.

What should I expect?

Volunteers from several UCOP departments will organize a structured experience for children who participate. We will organize students into grade-level cohorts for participation in interactive sessions.
