About the OPSA Steering Committee

The OPSA Steering Committee is a team of 7 to 15 volunteer staff members dedicated to promoting the interest and welfare of all career employees. We support UC’s mission through our advocacy, social, communication and career-development subcommittees. We encourage communication between staff, UCOP administration and other members of the university community on matters of interest to staff employees, in accordance with California laws and regental policy. Our activities provide forums where staff at all levels can discuss issues of mutual concern, and offer opinions and recommendations on policies, processes, and programs.
