Travel Talk Tuesday: Reconciling University Bank Card Charges

UCOP Employee travelers have the option to obtain a Corporate Travel and Entertainment (T&E) credit card to pay for all university business-related travel expenses. Travelers can also utilize the direct-bill options for airfare, select hotels and conference registrations. Most of these charges will populate to a Concur profile for reconciliation. Come join us at our next travel clinic where we will focus on how to reconcile university bank card charges. We will cover how to:

• Identify university bank card charges
• Pull charges into an Expense Report
• Add credits and provide required information/documentation
• Itemize university bank card charges

This travel clinic will include a short presentation followed by a live demonstration in the Concur system.

Explore the Updated ConnexUC Interface

A new look for the ConnexUC system is coming soon! Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 26, there will be an enhanced version of the Concur Travel Online Booking tool, featuring a new, intuitive user interface and enhanced content. Some new features include:

• New look and feel: A refreshed design for a more user-friendly experience
• Streamlined booking process: Simplified booking/checkout processes
• Improved content and images: Enhanced visuals for better clarity
• Enhanced sustainability features: Filter by emissions and sustainability options
• New distribution capability: Airlines now give access to available fares/offers
• Improved seat maps: Loyalty status – allows selection of preferred seats
• Baggage allowance display: Clear visibility of baggage policies for all fares
