Wednesday: Join Toastmasters for an open house
Lakeside Speakeasy Toastmasters Club had a very successful January open house — so much so that members will be hosting two more hybrid events this spring.
The first one will take place this Wednesday, March 5, from 12:05 to 12:55 p.m., via Zoom and in Oakland (Room 10001 on the 10th floor of the Broadway building).
This session will feature Steve Taddei, whose experience includes facilitating engaging discussions on a wide range of topics, including the “Black Experiences in America” panel discussion, which took place in response to George Floyd’s tragic death. He is an exceptional speaker who has produced 150+ podcasts and YouTube interviews on array of subjects like leadership, forgiveness, wellness, and sports. He is currently delving into the fascinating world of Negro League Baseball with a special series. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have him speak at our club.
All guests will have an opportunity to immediately practice their speaking and leadership skills, and Oakland staff will have an opportunity to meet Toastmasters members in person while enjoying a complimentary lunch.
RSVP to lakesidespeakeasy@gmail.com for more info and to receive a Zoom link.
