The UCOP Tableau User Group will feature the NRS’ Kathleen Wong

All UCOP staff are invited to join the next meeting of the UCOP Tableau User Group (UCOP TUG) on March 20 at 3:30 p.m. (PT).

Kathleen Wong, communications director for the UC Natural Reserve System, will demonstrate how she developed two of the vizzes in the UC’s Natural Reserve System use data story. First, she’ll discuss how she created the ternary plot showing how each of the 40+ reserves in the NRS network support UC’s research, university-level teaching, and public service mission. Then she’ll re-create the spider map depicting how many people from each campus conduct faculty-led research at the reserves.

Additionally, Laura Armstrong will lead a workshopping session where she will seek consultation from the UCOP Tableau User Group community as she raises certain roadblocks she has encountered while working on recent Tableau projects.
