The UCOP Tableau User Group will feature Yang Yang and Devin Smith

All UCOP staff are invited to join the next meeting of the UCOP Tableau User Group (UCOP TUG) on May 15 at 3:30 p.m. (PT).
Yang Yang from Institutional Research and Academic Planning (IRAP) will share her process to create a selection of features in her soon-to-be-published undergraduate advising dashboard, which utilizes UC Undergraduate Student Experience Survey (UCUES) data.
Devin Smith from the UC System’s California Digital Library will share his process for making a Gantt chart. He will use an example from his own work where he visualized the typical turnaround of publications, from submission to acceptance/editing à publication

About UCOP TUG
UCOP TUG is a community of UCOP staff interested in building and sharing their Tableau skills. The group meets bi-monthly to discuss product updates, share best practices, present how-tos, provide feedback on reports in development, and much more. Users with all levels of experience are welcome. Sessions include resources for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced visualization techniques.
To volunteer to present a visualization project and/or make suggestions of content to cover in future sessions, please fill out the presenter and suggestion form.
