Hear about UC tech careers from your colleagues
Careers that focus on or require technical skills are evolving quickly. If you’re interested in pursuing a career in a tech-related field, this can make it challenging to determine where to focus your energy.
To help colleagues learn more about their experiences in the UC tech community, UC Tech News is hosting a fireside chat, Navigating Tech Careers at UC, on May 27, from 10 – 11 a.m. (PT), in Oakland and via Zoom.
During this informative conversation, we’ll focus on:
- Technical, managerial and other skills that are important to success
- Finding and creating opportunities to thrive in a complex landscape, where technology, economic, political and societal forces constantly reshape the playing field
- Creative approaches to pursuing technical jobs at UC
Following the moderated conversation, attendees will have an opportunity to offer insights and ask questions. All members of our community with UC email accounts are welcome to attend.
