UCOP’s Sustainability team invites you to participate in the UCOP Sustainable Commuting Survey, now open through June 6! This survey is required by UC’s Sustainable Practices Policy, and the collected data will be included in UCOP’s Annual Sustainability Report.

By taking this short, five-minute survey, you’ll help provide an accurate measure of our current commuting practices and the associated carbon emissions. Your response will also help us to identify areas of improvement in our alternative transportation programs.

Aggregated survey results will be used to estimate total miles travelled each year and the related greenhouse gas emissions for UCOP locations. Responses on how we commute will be used to measure UCOP’s progress towards the following goals in UC’s Sustainable Practices Policy:

• Reduce the percentage of employees commuting by single-occupancy vehicles by 10% (relative to 2015 rates)
• Have at least 4.5% of commuter vehicles be zero-emissions vehicles

The survey is entirely anonymous. It is unrelated to UCOP’s “FlexWork/Future of Work” programs.
