Next up for UC’s Class of 2025? Building California’s brilliant future

Anthony Ramos by UC Merced arch

UC Merced graduate Anthony Ramos will pursue research in bioengineering and pharmaceuticals. “What would be the most meaningful to me is to make a contribution by finding ways to make [chronic disease] treatments more efficient, more accessible and less expensive.”

Beyond the specifics of their degrees, UC’s latest crop of graduates has learned the value of trying new things, taking risks and seeking out new opportunities in a quest to find their passions. Many of these new grads are now poised to use that self-discovery in ways that benefit all of us, becoming teachers, scientists, bioengineers and more. The common thread? A desire to make a difference.
